Join the USGBC-NCR Emerging Professionals volunteer at Bread for the City's Holiday Helpings campaign, which provides low-income DC residents with a turkey and all the trimmings so that they may enjoy a celebratory holiday meal at home with their families. This year Bread for the City plans to provide 9,000 low-income DC families with a healthful holiday meal.
Emerging Professional volunteers will help out with packing holiday meals at Bread for the City's Northwest Center, located at 1525 7th Street NW, Washington, DC 20001. We will be assisting with packing holiday meals.
Things to bring: Water bottle, t-shirt, jeans, closed toed shoes, and any other comfortable clothing for standing on your feet while working.
